Pasir Putih Beach

Our front garden

Pasir putih means "white sand", and this is the beach our homestay is named after. The sand is soft, the palms give shade all day, and in the late afternoon the fishermen pull their outriggers up the beach while the sun sets over the Indian Ocean.

• Swimming is best at mid to high tide in the calm corner by the rocks

• Watch out for currents near the river mouth after heavy rain

• Please take your rubbish back with you: there are bins in our garden
